Lisa Rinna Jokes Her Hair Was ‘Crazy’ on ‘Traitors,’ Explains Filming Schedule
Lisa Rinna explained exactly how Traitors is filmed — and how it affects her glam schedule.
Rinna, 62, responded to a fan’s question about how the contestants do their hair and makeup between having breakfast, completing a challenge and sitting down at the round table each day. In a clip shared via TikTok on Sunday, January 18, influencer Abbey Bonadies explained that each season, she’s wondered how the contestants “are wearing the same outfits for breakfast that they are wearing at the round table.”
She then pulled up a photo of Rina wearing a cheetah-print jacket one morning, changing into athletic gear for a messy challenge and then getting back into her original outfit. She then asked via Threads, “I need to know about the filming schedule for The Traitors each day because do they wake up, get in full glam and an outfit, then change, get dirty for a challenge, then get BACK into those same breakfast outfits for the round table???? It’s not clicking for me lol.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star then answered her question, responding, “That is exactly what we do and we do ourselves hence the hair looking cuckoo crazy.”
Fans were impressed that the cast does their own glam and changed back into their lavish outfits twice a day, and shared their thoughts in the comments section.
“THANK YOU FOR THIS!! This is my first season watching and this exact topic was driving me nuts!!” one wrote. A second social media user added, “I’m impressed with Candiace and Maura!” A third wrote, “I’ve had this EXACT question!!! But we know they don’t stay at the castle…so they go back to the castle gross, film them walking in, turn around and drive them back to the hotel (supposedly 1 hr away), get full glam/shower, drive BACK to castle???”
This season, Rinna has looked fabulous in a head-to-toe leopard-print outfit. Host Alan Cumming also got into the spirit by wearing a coffin-shaped outfit during a challenge. Candice Dillard Bassett looked as chic as ever in a puffy sleeve blouse and hot pink mini dress, while Rob Rausch packed his viral overalls that he first wore on Love Island USA.
