Kristy Scott Returns to Instagram With Stylish ‘OOTN’ Video After Split News
Kristy Scott made a stylish return to Instagram.
The influencer — who goes by Kristy Sarah on her social media platforms — took to her Stories on Sunday, January 11, to show off her “ootn,” a.k.a. “outfit of the night,” on the heels of news that she and her husband, Desmond Scott, are calling it quits.
In a sleek mirror video, she rocked a long-sleeve sculpted burgundy set as she posed for the camera, completing her look with long, flowing curls, soft makeup and a cream-colored manicure. Kristy, 30, smiled while playing with her hair in the clip.
She followed up with a repost on Monday, January 12, from Carrying Hope, which thanked Kristy for a $10,000 donation that will allow the nonprofit to “open a second apartment this month in San Marcos for young adults who are aging out of the foster care system.”

On Monday, she also shared a peek at the luxe new drapes in her home.
It appears the TikToker is embracing a new chapter as she enters 2026. Kristy filed for divorce in Harris County, Texas, on December 30, 2025, per documents obtained by Us Weekly.
The social media star cited alleged infidelity as the reason for her split from Desmond, according to a January 9 report from TMZ. The now-exes have been married since 2014 and share two kids: sons Vance and Westin. The court documents state there is no chance of reconciliation and they “will soon stop living together as husband and wife,” per the report.
Kristy and Desmond’s sudden split came as a shock to fans who have followed their journey after getting to know the couple through their videos online. Kristy has 9.4 million Instagram followers and 16.8 million TikTok followers, while Desmond has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and 1.4 million on TikTok. The former flames have known each other since they were 14, as she pointed out in one of her clips.
In addition to the content they created together on social media, Kristy and Desmond also co-own a production company called Meant to Be Films.
In an Instagram Stories post on Saturday, January 10, Desmond broke his silence about their breakup in a statement.
“I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,” the chef began. “I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.”

“Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as have always been,” he continued, revealing they faced “challenges” as a couple and “made sincere efforts to work through them.”
Desmond added, “Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this.” He went on to state that he made “choices that I am not proud of.”
“I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” Desmond concluded. “l ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I’m grateful for that support.”
