Chloe Fineman Reveals Facial Injuries After ‘Botched’ Cosmetic Procedures
Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman got real about the sometimes-brutal aftermath of cosmetic procedures.
Fineman, 37, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 4, to share a tongue-in-cheek video that captured the results of past med spa treatments. A string of throwback photos showed the comedian’s face affected by swollen features, red and scaly skin, bruises and other injuries evidently suffered in the name of beauty.
“Can we normalize having a “Botched” iPhone photo album?” she joked in the post’s caption while the video itself expanded on her experiences. “Every year, hundreds of women will say they’re going on a trip or visiting family in Connecticut,” Fineman voiced over the top of her clip. “But really, they’ll be going ham at a med spa doing crazy s*** like laser stuff, salmon j***, sculptra plaster or whatever the hell this was.”
Fineman’s narration continued, “These women will hide themselves away in caves like bears while taking hundreds of selfies like this they’ll send to friends and family who will lie and say, ‘It’s not that bad.’ This year, I pledge to stop the cycle. Just kidding, I’m going Friday.”
Fans took to the post’s comments section to show their approval, including high-profilers like Chris Pratt, who responded with a crying laughter face emoji, and celebrity makeup and skin experts like Joanna Vargas, who has treated the likes of Naomi Watts and Julianne Moore in the past.
Fineman has shared her love of all things beauty with fans via social media in the past, posting a video of her abundant skincare collection via Instagram in April. “This hoarding of goos. Like, what am I, a witch? Casting little spells with all these, like, potions?” she joked at the time. “It’s crazy. I have, like, seven face oils. I don’t know which one. I don’t know. I don’t know.”

She concluded at the time that her fondness for skincare had reached the point of obsession. “I know there’s like seasons and things change and this is probably, like, really not relatable, but, like, this is crazy and I need help. I need a skin-tervention,” Fineman said in the clip.
Fineman’s adoration for aesthetics also extends to fashion, with the New Yorker telling Us Weekly in September that her debut clothing line with cult label MOTHER, the Chloe Fineman x MOTHER capsule, was inspired in part by her vintage denim addiction. “I own almost as many jeans as I own wigs,” she told Us at the time. “In the hundreds, some in my apartment, some in storage. I think I have a pair of jeans in my oven [where she also stores her wigs].”
Fineman offered fans a glimpse into her luxe West Village, Manhattan, apartment in May, allowing real estate influencer Caleb Simpson into her home to film a TikTok tour of the space. Revealing that she paid $5,500 monthly rent, Fineman shone a light on the property’s slight imperfections. “Strategically, I’m like, ‘It’s falling apart. You cannot raise my rent,’” she joked in Simpson’s video.
