Natalie Portman Splashes Around in Low-Cut Swimsuit at St. Bart’s Beach
Natalie Portman enjoyed a relaxed beach day in St. Bart’s as she rang in the first day of 2026.
The actress, 44, soaked up the Caribbean sun while wading along the shoreline during a quiet start to the new year on Thursday, January 1.
Portman wore a sleek black one-piece swimsuit with a plunging neckline, keeping the look simple, modern and effortlessly chic.
She rocked the “multi-way” Lenny Niemeyer swimsuit for her low-key beach day, which retails for $205 and features “soft, luxurious” fabric that “provides SPF 50+ protection and has Amni Soul Eco Technology, which is biodegradable,” per the brand’s website.

Portman appeared to be in great spirits when soaking up the sun, smiling as she gazed out at the ocean and chatted with friends who were tanning alongside her as they rested on the sand. She went makeup-free and splashed around while taking a dip in the water.
On Friday, January 2, Portman reflected on the past year with a series of portraits. The first of which showed her in a stunning black and silver strapless gown with a diamond necklace, while another image gave a glimpse at her blonde bob with bangs while filming her upcoming movie The Gallerist.
“2025 had so much light — amazing filming experiences with Cathy Yan and Lena Dunham, releasing Arco, trips to Italy, Turkey and Kenya, so much beautiful art and music, and lots of amazing time with friends and family,” she wrote. “Happy new year 2026! Wishing you all joy and fulfillment.”
She previously dished about the plot and revealed the flick would make its premiere at Sundance in 2026.
“We’re off to #SundanceFilmFestival! Can’t wait for you to experience THE GALLERIST at the 2026 fest,” Portman shared via Instagram. “@cathyyan takes us to Art Basel Miami, where a desperate gallerist hatches a wild plan to sell a very unusual piece.”
Portman’s latest film projects come on the heels of her divorce from ex-husband Benjamin Millepied, which was finalized in February 2024. The exes share two children: son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 8.
Us Weekly confirmed in March 2025 that she had moved on with music producer Tanguy Destable.
“Natalie and Tanguy have been seeing each other for a few months,” a source exclusively spilled to Us at the time, noting that it hadn’t been “too long, but they are having a great time together.”

As for what caught her eye, the insider said that Destable, 45, is “very outgoing and boisterous.” Plus, they pointed out that he was “is really into” Portman and they have a “few mutual friends.”
The pair was last seen enjoying a romantic stroll in Paris in September 2025.
Last year, Portman spoke out about her move to Paris and why she preferred living there over the United States. “They’re very good at privacy here,” she told Net-a-Porter in a May 2025 cover story. “I feel like the biggest compliment is ‘elle est très discrète’ [‘she is very discreet’].”
