49ers QB Brock Purdy Gives Teammates $10K Custom Rolex Watches for Christmas
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy went above and beyond for Christmas 2025.
Purdy, 25, presented members of his offensive line with engraved Rolex watches.
“Best gift ever,” center Matt Hennessy wrote via his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 24, sharing a glimpse of a timepiece from Purdy.
Purdy presumably handed out Rolex Submariner Date watches, which start at $10,000. The back of each wristwatch had been engraved for each athlete.
Hennessy’s read, “61 Bang Bang 13,” with the top numeral matching his NFL jersey number.
Purdy wasn’t the only Niners athlete playing Santa. Hennessy, 28, shared additional photos of Mac Jones’ gift of a Breville coffee maker with a “Protectors of Glock Purdy [and] Mac 10” T-shirt and a Bottega Veneta duffel courtesy of Christian McCaffrey.
As for Purdy, he presented the watches after the team’s Wednesday, December 24, practice.
“I don’t know. I’ve got something for them, but they’re going to get it after practice today,” he teased in a Wednesday press conference. “I don’t want to say. Yeah, no spoilers.”
To celebrate the holiday season, many NFL stars shower their teammates with luxurious presents. Purdy gave out a fleet of new Toyota trucks to the entire offensive line in December 2024.
“Boys, I just want to say Merry Christmas [and] I got some gifts for you guys,” Purdy said in a social media video at the time. “Sorry for the wait, but if you want to follow me outside. Let’s go.”
He continued, “Alright, so we got five Sequoias, five Tundras. You guys can check ‘em out, but these are yours, so Merry Christmas. Appreciate you guys. Thanks for all you do.”
Purdy, who was notably drafted last in 2022, led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2024. The team narrowly lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs later faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl, while the Niners were knocked out in the playoffs. The San Francisco-based team, however, has a chance to do better in the 2026 postseason and have already clinched a spot in the playoffs.
“Yeah, definitely them playing together and stuff and when you’re healthy going into this time of year and having a bunch of games together with [Spencer] Burford in there now too,” Purdy gushed of his offensive line during his Wednesday press conference. “I just feel, like, overall, they’ve done a great job with building off games and with the run game.”

He added, “I feel like guys are tying everything together and they’re playing together as a unit, so it’s been nice obviously to be able to get the ball out of my hand to help them out [and] get into a rhythm. And just overall, I feel like the play calls and everything have helped them and when it comes to one-on-one blocking too, in certain situations, third downs, like they’ve stepped up and done a great job of giving me time.”
Purdy further praised the Niners “team effort” in every game and practice.
“[I am] really proud of those guys right now,” he concluded.
