With the announcement of the lineups for Coachella and the Bonnaroo Music Arts Festival, it’s time to start making plans for spring and summer music festivities.
Also on the bill at Coachella: Becky G, Björk, Fisher, Chromeo, Eric Prydz, Charli XCX, Blondie, rockers such as The Murder Capital and Momma – and actor Idris Elba, who sings and has top-notch DJ skills, having spun tracks at the reception for Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s royal wedding.
Atop the bill at Bonnaroo: rapper Kendrick Lamar, electronic duo Odesza and rock band Foo Fighters. The festival runs June 15-18 in Manchester, Tennessee. Others performing at the fest include Lil Nas X, Tyler Childers, Paramore, My Morning Jacket, The Beths and Morgan Wade.

Foo Fighters will also be playing the Boston Calling Music Festival, held over Memorial Day weekend, on May 26. Also on the three-day festival’s bill there: Alanis Morissette, Paramore and Maren Morris.
Then on May 28, Foo Fighters will headline the Sonic Temple Art Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Also playing that four-day festival: Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Kiss and Starcrawler.
Tickets for Bonnaroo start at $175 for one day and $299 for four days. Tickets and camping and parking go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. CT. (Sign up now for early access.)

Sonic Temple Art Music Festival one-day field tickets start at $149.99; those along with VIP and hotel packages go on sale on Friday. But presale registration ends Tuesday at 10 p.m.
