One person has been arrested and two more were injured following a six-person brawl at an Arizona Coyotes game Friday evening, police said.
According to Arizona State University police, Nashaknik Allen Shontz was charged on suspicion of aggravated assault after they reportedly bit the tip of another person’s index finger during the fight. The injured person was identified as Steven Rocha. Rocha was transported to a hospital for treatment, police said.
ASU police confirmed that a Phoenix police officer who also responded to the scene was injured during the scuffle, although they were unable to comment on the severity of that injury. That officer remains unidentified.
Police said that the other five people involved in the brawl were cited for disorderly conduct and then released.

According to ASU police, it is unclear what started the altercation which began in the stands of Mullett Arena at around 9:30 p.m. However sports journalist Pete Blackburn with Bally Sports was able to capture video footage of the brawl, which he shared via Twitter.
