Frontier Airlines grew this week, with more plans to expand on the horizon. The airline officially opened its previously-announced crew base in Phoenix Friday with new flights set to start Saturday. The carrier is also expanding its footprint in Dallas-Fort Worth in the spring.
“Now more than ever consumers appreciate the value offered by our ultra-low cost business model,” Jake Filene, senior vice president of customers at Frontier Airlines said in a statement.
According to the airline, these plans will make Frontier one of the largest carriers at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and reaffirm its status as the fastest-growing airline at DFW.

Once all the new services commence, Frontier will serve 23 destinations nonstop from Phoenix.
