Lori Loughlin paid more than $500,000 to cover a pair of college tuitions in the wake of her conviction in the college admissions scandal.

A source told US Weekly that the Full House actress, 57, ‘privately arranged to put two students through four years of college’ in an effort to ‘put the past behind her.’

Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli, 58, were indicted in 2019 and last year pleaded guilty in connection with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

The latest: Lori Loughlin, 57, paid more than $500,000 to cover a pair of tuitions in the wake of her conviction in the college admissions scandal. She was snapped heading to court in Boston in 2019 

The couple admit in court they paid admissions fixer Rick Singer $500,000 to arrange for the University of Southern California to recruit their daughters Isabella Rose, 23, and Olivia Jade, 22, onto the school’s rowing team, despite that they had no background in the sport.

The source said Loughlin is hoping to ‘be allowed to move on’ in the wake of the scandal, as she feels ‘this stigma attached to her by people who don’t want her to have any success.’

‘She has served her time in jail and completed her probation, community service and paid all of her court fines.’

Loughlin received a two-month sentence in connection with the conviction and was released late last year, while Giannulli was let out in April following five months in custody.

Loughlin has sought to take a positive stance in rebuilding her life in the wake of the scandal, as she ‘continues to work with’ the nonprofit Project Angel Food following her mandated 100 hours of community service, the source told US.

She has also returned to her acting career in appearing on the GAC Family series When Hope Calls, and has been a supportive presence for her daughter Olivia Jade amid her stint on Dancing With the Stars’ 30th season.

Olivia Jade called her mother her ‘biggest support ever’ following an outing on the ABC ballroom show, the outlet reported.

‘She’s, like, my hero,’ she said. ‘So it’s really nice to know she’s watching, and she’s really proud.’
