The ‘Very Lucrative’ Career Debi Mazar Started As A Teen
As an actress, Debi Mazar is good famous for personification tough, street-smart, fast-talking characters like a no-nonsense publicist in “Entourage” and an outspoken mistress in “Goodfellas.” The Queens local has had a lot of success with this niche, though apropos a Hollywood singer wasn’t always a career pierce she envisioned when she initial started working.
As Mazar tells “Oprah: Where Are They Now?”
“When we was young, I’d contend 16, we had a unequivocally lucrative, trust it or not, makeup career,” Mazar says. “I was doing unequivocally cold people… Miss [Diana] Ross, Raquel Welch, Run DMC. we had met my crony Madonna in a club; we did her makeup when she was initial starting.”
“I would do her makeup and she was like, ‘Debi, wish to be in a video?'” Mazar says. “I’d be like, ‘Yeah, sure!'”
Mazar finished adult appearing in 5 of Madonna’s song videos and shortly satisfied how most she enjoyed performing. Â “I had that behaving bug, that we didn’t even realize,” she says. “But we looked good on camera [and] we was diversion for it.”
Her purpose in “Goodfellas” followed and a rest, as they say, is history. Today, Mazar can be seen on TVLand’s “Younger”
