California will no longer use grand juries in cases involving police shootings of civilians after Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed a check Tuesday
SB 227, authored by state Sen. Holly Mitchell (D-Los Angeles), makes California a first state
Mitchell argues that a grand jury process, during that justification is presented to a row of civilians in secret, fosters a miss of trust in a system.Â
“One doesn’t have to be a counsel to know because SB227 creates sense,”  Mitchell pronounced in a statement, according to a San Francisco Chronicle
Under a new rules, prosecutors contingency confirm either military officers should face rapist charges for murdering someone in a line of duty.
Brown also sealed a Right to Record Act
