Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello had a terrifying experience last week at their home.
Mendes, 22, and Cabello, 24, were together at home when thieves broke into their home in Los Angeles and entered via a window, TMZ reports.
The burglars apparently didn’t stick around long after realizing the singing couple were in the house, but they managed to steal one of Shawn’s luxury vehicles.

Cabello and Mendes have been nearly inseparable throughout the coronavirus pandemic, though they’ve mainly been staying at the former Fifth Harmony member’s home in Miami.
However, they recently switched coasts and moved into her Hollywood Hills home earlier in March.
The Cuban-born songstress purchased the centrally located house in 2019 for $3.4 million.

Earlier this month, Camila revealed to People that she has been attending weekly racial healing sessions in order to ‘do better’ and be ‘held accountable’ for her past actions.
Racist Tumblr posts she allegedly created back in 2012 resurfaced on social media in December 2019, creating a swirl of controversy.
The posts included offensive memes and some even featured the N-word.
She apologized at the time for her ‘horrible and hurtful language,’ though the posts were overshadowed amid 2020’s racial justice protests inspired by the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, along with many other slain Black Americans.

In January, Camila founded the Healing Justice Project with the nonprofit Movement Voter Fund.
The project will provide six months of mental health counseling for 10 organizations catering to racial minority and LGBTQ populations.
‘A lot of activists don’t have the time or resources to take care of themselves,’ Camila told People. ‘When you’re struggling or feeling burnout, it’s hard to show up for other people. You have to heal yourself before you can heal the community.’
Owning up: Cabello issued a December 2019 statement where she owned up to past racist behavior saying that she was ‘uneducated and ignorant’ while vowing to do better
