Missing Special Olympics Athlete Turns Up 350 Miles Away

LOS ANGELES — An Albanian contestant who left from a Special Olympics in Los Angeles incited adult protected early Monday 350 miles divided in a San Francisco Bay Area city of Hayward.

Andi Gusmari, 44, came to a Hayward Police Department on his possess around 2 a.m. Monday and used a run phone to hit a dispatcher, behaving Lt. Guy Jakub said.

Gusmari, a bowling competitor, left from a University of Southern California someday after 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Some 6,500 athletes from around a universe took partial in a Special Olympics, that used venues around a Los Angeles area.

The participants pronounced goodbye Sunday in an romantic shutting rite during Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, a centerpiece of a 1932 and 1984 Olympics.
