Oregon Governor Expands Drought Declaration

PORTLAND, Ore., Apr 6 (Reuters) – Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced a drought puncture on Monday in 3 southern and executive Oregon counties, expanding on progressing drought declarations a Democrat done in March, as a state faces record low snowpack levels.
Continuing drought has caused “natural and mercantile disaster conditions” in Oregon’s Crook, Harney and Klamath counties, worsening wildfire risk, and melancholy wildlife and agriculture, Brown pronounced in her declaration.
“Oregon’s scarcely comfortable and dry winter has potentially apocalyptic consequences,” Brown pronounced on Monday.
