Fans were not pleased with Sarah Hyland after she shared a photo to Instagram of fiance Wells Adams grabbing her breast.

Wells sat behind his soon-to-be bride in the image and grabbed her chest, with friends in the photo striking similar poses. 

While the women appeared to be completely consenting to the amorous display, a few followers couldn’t help but take a page from the #MeToo movement and question the intentions.

‘We take wedding photo booths very seriously… #mcm to the men who love and treat their ladies like queens,’ Sarah captioned the photo, which garnered nearly 300,000 likes with a slew of comments to follow. 

‘In times of gender balance and women’s rights and respect, we still see pics like this… we are not moving forward with such mentalities,’ one user wrote underneath the image.

‘Like queens = like objects? The dissolution of patriarchal gender relations can’t come soon enough,’ another follower wrote.

While some users were intent on calling out the Modern Family star for her choice in posting, some fans stood up for Hyland and her beau.

‘Do you even know what the Metoo campaign was about, these women are consenting to this photo. Know the difference,’ one follower wrote.

This isn’t Sarah’s first tango with internet trolls as she caught similar slack following the Golden Globes in 2018.

In a video series for InStyle’s Instagram account, celebrities took their turn exiting an immaculate elevator before heading into the party.

Sarah seemingly acted inebriated as she carried a bottle and stumbled up against an elevator bellhop.

At the end of the clip, Sarah fell back into his arms as the elevator doors slammed shut, leading viewers to question her actions with the video amid the Time’s Up movement.

Sarah later took to Twitter and clarified the actions: ‘#JohntheBellHop is a very nice old man. FYI. completely sober.’
