

Johnson Publishing, primogenitor association of Ebony magazine, has a pithy pretension of “curator of a African-American experience.†But a corporate bottom ancillary that purpose keeps shrinking.
The company’s new preference to sell a ancestral imitation collection is a latest instance of downsizing, following a termination of Jet magazine’s imitation version, a sale of Johnson’s 11-story Michigan Avenue domicile and a paring of a workforce by a third given 2007. Now it’s perplexing to rent one of dual floors it rented during a new digs, after giving adult a third earlier.
