Jill Scott Honored At 6th Annual Essence Black Women In Music Event (PHOTOS)

ESSENCE repository kicked off a Grammy Awards weekend on Thursday with the 6th annual Black Women in Music event

Prior to Scott’s performance, a Grammy Award-winning songstress reflected on a approval she perceived by a distinguished publication.

“It feels great. I’ve been looking during Essence repository my whole life,” Scott suggested on a red runner to Getty. “And they were one of a initial magazines that put me on their cover and unequivocally showed me adore and support from a beginning. And so, it’s kind of fitting that they would welcome me a approach they are now.”
