WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) — A 20-year-old Maui fisherman is recuperating after being bitten by an 8- to 10-foot tiger shark while he was perplexing to chuck it behind to sea.
The Maui News (http://is.gd/qqZHsL ) reports Michael Pollard perceived 38 stitches after he was bitten Tuesday morning in Lahaina.
Pollard says he should have cut a line when he bending a shark though motionless to move it in.
He and a crony attempted to pull a shark behind into a ocean.
Pollard says he was pulling a shark into a H2O when it started flailing and snagged his leg.
The punch left dual semicircle outlines on his left calf, that he wrapped with a tourniquet done from his sleeves.
