Twitch gets exclusive livestreaming rights to USA Basketball

Twitch, which is owned by Amazon and also will livestream NFL games on Thursday nights, has begun an obvious push beyond livestreaming gaming. And just in time, too, given the recent news that uber-popular streamer Ninja jumped ship to Mixer.

The first U.S. Men’s exhibition game is at 10 p.m. Eastern time on Aug. 9, from Las Vegas. After that intra-team matchup, they’ll play Spain in California on Aug. 16 before heading to Australia for games on Aug. 22, Aug. 24 and Aug. 26.
