New Stranger Things Season 3 poster is a neon extravaganza

We’re just over a month before the new season of Stranger Things drops and we’re starting to get more details on it. The latest teaser makes one thing abundantly clear: summer is coming.

The new teaser is not great on details, but it is great on getting us excited for the new season. The teaser sees the moms of Hawkins lounging by the public pool waiting for none other than Billy Hargrove, the resident bad boy and lifeguard reporting for his shift. The trailer is completed by The Cars’ Moving in Stereo playing in the background, really filling out the scene. As you may remember from season 2, Billy is quite popular with the moms of the town, including Mrs. Wheeler.

Billy is walking up with long locks of permed hair, slicks shades and a mustache. The trailer ends with him laying down the law, rebuking a kid for running near the pool.

We’ll see if Billy is up to his old shenanigans when the new season of Stranger Things arrives on July 4.
