President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom.

“Lots of my friends are over there just saying, ‘Why did you send him?’ I did not send him over there,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said of the president’s three-day state visit.

“He’s there for the pomp and circumstance of it all,” guest co-host Tara Setmayer said, adding that Trump has “throne envy” and is “all about the grandeur of it all, because he feeds off that.”

“There’s really no political agenda,” she continued — though it’s worth noting Trump did, as is usual, meet Tuesday morning with prime minister Theresa May, who resigned last Friday and is scheduled to leave office later this week.

“Just one last message to the Brits: I’m sorry,” co-host Ana Navarro concluded.

The four ladies also criticized the president for picking fights with Duchess Meghan and London mayor Sadiq Khan before even landing in England. During an interview last week with Britain’s The Sun, reporters asked Trump for his thoughts on the former American actress, who “wasn’t so nice” to him during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

“I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” Trump said.

“He must not have listened to the tape that was recording him,” Goldberg quipped Monday. “I assume he knows that’s him. Some people don’t recognize their own voices. But that is you… There it is. How can you deny it knowing that there’s tape? You think we’re dumb? I guess you do.”
