Calif. AG Kamala Harris to run for Senate

California Attorney General Kamala Harris will announce Tuesday her candidacy for a U.S. Senate chair being vacated by Democrat Barbara Boxer.

The Associated Press cited an unnamed confidant with believe of Harris’ plans.

The preference by Harris, a rising Democratic Party star, will change a energetic in a 2016 competition that has been holding figure fast given Boxer announced final week should would not run for a fifth term.
