Beth Chapman is opening up about her cancer battle.

The “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star, 51, shared a picture of herself on Instagram Tuesday, adding the hashtags #cancersucks, #stayhumblepray and #”itsonlyhair.

Chapman’s post marked her first selfie since starting chemotherapy for throat cancer in Los Angeles last month, attorney Andrew Brettler confirmed to USA TODAY. In the picture, Chapman flashes a reserved smile as she shows off her signature blond locks.

“(The treatments) are going well, but they certainly take their toll on Beth,” Brettler said.

On top of her cancer battle, Chapman started filming the new WGN series “Dogs Most Wanted” with husband Duane “Dog” Chapman. “It hasn’t been easy,” Brettler added.

Chapman was originally diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer in September 2017; it returned in late November. The reality star had to undergo an operation to remove a cancerous mass in her throat.

“I can confirm that unfortunately, her cancer has returned,” Brettler told USA TODAY on Nov. 28. “The doctors say it’s serious and are evaluating her treatment options. We’re all hoping for the best.”
