In not-so-veiled Trump critique, James Comey says Americans need to 'seek truth'
It’s no secret that James Comey is no fan of Donald Trump’s.
More than a year has passed since Trump abruptly fired Comey as FBI director. And the critiques from Comey just keep on coming.
“Dangerous time when our country is led by those who will lie about anything, backed by those who will believe anything, based on information from media sources that will say anything,” the ex-FBI director abd  tweeted Wednesday morning.
He also issued a call to the public: “Americans must break out of that bubble and seek truth.”
Comey’s commentary came shortly after Trump declared “WITCH HUNT” and “SPYGATE” in his own tweets.
In recent days, Trump — long critical of the probe into Russian collusion in the 2016 electio — has fumed over reports that the FBI and CIA relied on a retired Cambridge University professor to give them information on his contacts with Trump campaign associates. He has also inserted himself into the investigation into his campaign, pushing law enforcement and intelligence officials to turn over information to Congress.
