Oh right, gameplay.
What we’re hungering for most after a “mood†trailer and last fall’s story trailer is a look at what it’ll be like to actually play the game. Sure, I can go back and play Red Dead Redemption to get an idea, but it’s been a full eight years since the game released – things have changed.
With that said, Rockstar usually separates its gameplay and story trailers. It’s likely we’ll get a gameplay trailer that has someone narrating the game’s features sometime this summer as Rockstar kicks up the hype for the game. Until we get that gamplay trailer, we won’t know if we’ll be playing as one character like we did in Red Dead Redemption, or if Rockstar will go GTAV on us and let us step into the boots’n’spurs of the whole gang.
We’ll be able to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26. PC gamers, you’re still in the dark – Rockstar isn’t talking about whether even a PC version exists just yet.
