Netflix adding one of Hollywood’s worst films in April

Hoo boy. If you get a kick out of bad cinema—who doesn’t?—then next month’s Netflix additions will be right up your alley. Specifically, the streaming service is adding Battlefield Earth, a movie so bad it currently has a 3 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“May turn out to be the worst movie of this century,” The New York Times said in its review.

If you’re at all curious as to how a John Travolta movie could be so bad, Battlefield Earth will be added on April 1. Other additions include Mortal Kombat, Deep Blue Sea, and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

That’s some quality cinema right there.

Thankfully, The Iron Giant is also being added to Netflix next month. That movie is often considered to be one of the best animated films ever, so make sure you don’t miss it. The full list of movies being added (and leaving) are down below.
