180 people killed in South Africa in what’s being called a world’s misfortune conflict of listeria

Several southern African countries have removed some processed meats from South Africa after a deaths of 180 people there from infested food given early final year.

The African News Agency reported Tuesday that Swaziland, Zambia and Mozambique are among nations that have systematic a dismissal of beef products believed to be contaminated.

South Africa’s health minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, says there have been a sum of 950 cases of listeriosis given Jan 2017 and that 180 people have died.

The South African government is advising people to equivocate processed beef products that are sole as “ready-to-eat” and
identified a food bureau in a northeast city of Polokwane as a source of a outbreak.

The U.N. World Health Organization called a conflict a largest ever available globally, after 948 cases were reported given Jan 2017. Listeria causes flu-like symptoms, nausea, scour and infection of a blood tide and brain.
