U.S. trade group deserted Bombardier duties as CSeries sales did not harm Boeing

A U.S. trade group on Wednesday pronounced it did not levy large duties on sales of Bombardier Inc’s new jetliner to American carriers since it found that Boeing Co mislaid no sales or revenues when Delta Air Lines systematic a aircraft in 2016 from a Canadian planemaker.

The International Trade Commission (ITC) released a logic 3 weeks after a Jan. 26 statute that rejected a U.S. Commerce Department recommendation to slap a nearby 300 percent avocation on sales of Bombardier’s 110-to-130-seat CSeries jets for 5 years, following a censure by Boeing.

ITC commissioners voted 4-0 that Bombardier’s CSeries prices to U.S. carriers did not mistreat Boeing’s smallest plane, a 737 MAX 7, thereby stealing a current reason to levy duties.
