Beyond the obvious changes, the iPhone 8 is reliably great, easing users into the future, unlike the iPhone X which has a big learning curve. If you’ve ever owned an iPhone, you can pick up an iPhone 8 and instantly know how to use it. There’s something to be said about the device’s familiarity.
