Western researchers learn couple between mind disorders
Western University researchers are anticipating a couple between athletes with serious concussions and patients vital with ALS — a degenerative neurological disorder.
People vital with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy have expected gifted steady conduct trauma. Many patients are mostly athletes who play hit sports such as football and hockey. ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, affects a mind and spinal cord.
Lead researcher Dr. Michael Strong pronounced studies have found a identical protein — called tau — in both disorders.
