Ready Player One’s new trailer has enough easter eggs to last until real Easter

The Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe 1973 from the Mad Max movies, also called the V8 Interceptor, the original Batmobile, with Batman inside, Street Fighter‘s Ryu, the Ninja Turtle van, the DeLorean from Back to the Future (that one’s hard to miss), Deathstroke and maybe Harley Quinn, Blanka from Street Fighter, the BigFoot monster truck, the cycle from Akira, all three Battletoads, the Joker and definitely Harley Quinn, Tracer from Overwatch, Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Lara Croft of Tomb Raider, Sagat from Street Fighter, a Gundam mobile suit, and the Iron Giant. I’m pretty sure I missed a bunch in there. Like a few Street Fighter characters. And there were more that I recognized but couldn’t place.

If your favorite part of Wreck-It! Ralph was the huge list of video game characters and in-jokes, as it was for many, then it seems like Ready Player One is going to be the ultimate feast. The movie is set to hit this March.
