President Donald Trump had a little trouble figuring out an awkward group handshake with world leaders at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit on Monday
Time
Let’s be real: Sometimes handshakes are hard.
So President Trump learned Monday at the kickoff of the Association of Southeast Asian Nation Summit in Manila, when he dealt with the “ASEAN-Way Handshake.”
First, there’s the glance.
Then there’s the realization that you’re doing it wrong.
Then you correct your mistake.
Because you got this.
And honestly, there’s no way that it isn’t awkward for everyone to cross their arms in front of their bodies to hold hands.
Besides, you’re not the only one who got confused.
And this isn’t the first time this happened.
Nor will it be the last.
And besides, it’s all in the name of unity.
