A bizarre report from The Wall Street Journal reveals the former lead singer of the band Blink 182, Tom DeLonge, was in contact with the Clinton Campaign about UFOs. Earlier this year, DeLonge admitted to Rolling Stone that he’s obsessed with UFOs and has dedicated the last few years of his life to proving theories around their existence.
The tale gets even stranger still: DeLonge was apparently in contact with John Podesta, a campaign chairman for the Clinton administration, about the possibility of meeting up to further discuss what DeLonge refers to as “the phenomenon.” Delonge sent at least two emails that the WSJ describes as “cryptic.”
One of the emails from 2015 reveals DeLonge attempted to introduce Podesta to two people who allegedly knew a lot about the issues relating to their shared interest in UFOs.
I think you will find them very interesting, as they were principal leadership relating to our sensitive topic. Both were in charge of most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics. Other words, these are A-Level officials. Worth our time, and as well the investment to bring all the way out to you.
In another email to Podesta from 2016, DeLonge talks about a man named General McCasland who apparently worked at a laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, which is thought to be where the U.S. government took the remains of an alien vessel after it crashed in Roswell, New Mexico back in 1947.
In addition to their shared interest in UFOs, the emails reveal Podesta participated in a documentary produced by DeLonge. However, the emails did not reveal the name of the documentary, nor the contents of it.
Podesta was previously a senior advisor to President Barack Obama and upon his resignation from that position, he revealed his biggest failure of 2014 was being unable to secure the disclosure of the UFO files. Podesta added the hashtag: #thetruthisstilloutthere.
It’s unclear if Podesta ever responded to DeLonge.
