Mondays suck, unless it’s Cyber Monday, in which case you have every opportunity to save money on the products you’ve been meaning to buy. Take the Google Home, for example. Right now, the search giant is offering the smart speaker for just $99—and that’s not the only deal going down in the company’s online store.
The bad news is Google isn’t discounting its new Pixel smartphone, which remains firm at $649. The silver lining, however, is that consumers who do purchase the device get three free months of Google Play Music. That’s a $30 value.
Perhaps the best deal being offered by Google includes a big discount on Google home. You can pick up the device for just $99, down from the original price of $129. We’ve seen it elsewhere for that price and now you can score the discount from Google directly. Even better, if you buy Google Home now you’ll get six free months of YouTube Red.
There are similar deals like that throughout Google’s store: Buy a Chromecast or Chromecast Ultra and get three free months of HBO NOW. The Chromecast is down to just $25, too, as is Chromecast Audio. That’s the price of a meal at a fancy restaurant.
Smart home gadgets, streaming, and more
Finally, Google is offering $50 off on its Nest thermostat and Nest Cam. Both are excellent products for those thinking of jumping into the smart home market.
Google says purchases made between Nov. 25 and Dec. 25 can be returned and refunded through Jan. 22, which should give you plenty of time to figure out whether Google Home is worth it or not (it is).
