Garmin introduced a new fitness tracker geared toward kids aged 4 – 9 on Thursday. It’s called the Vivofit Jr and has enough battery to last an entire year before requiring a new battery.
That means kids should be able to wear it 24/7, even in the water, while tracking their activities and pushing them to staying active at least 60 minutes per day. Parents can keep track of their child’s activity using a mobile application, and even encourage them to finish chores with awards that appear on the wearable.
The Vivofit Jr is available now at retailers around the U.S. including Target, Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods. It retails for $79.99.
