Final Fantasy XV continues to blow our minds as one of the best looking games of the year. The delay that pushed it from a September release to Nov. 29 has obviously paid off big time with steadier frame rates and an overall improvement to the performance.
The latest 20 minutes of footage comes from PlayStation Access, and it shows a handful of early side activities Noctis and friends can undertake besides strolling through the main quest. The newest feature to be shown off is the car customization, performed by Cindy. The extensive options will allow Noctis’ car to perform different functions, acting almost like it is a fifth character in the party!
Also included in this footage are the clothing options, allowing the party to change out of their black garb and into more casual clothes. Following that, Noctis can partake in a footrace against Balio, explore a lovely beach over-populated with dangerous crabs, and go fishing!
Sadly, fishing crashes the game and kills the stream, though, meaning there is still work to be done on the game. Thank goodness it got delayed!
Final Fantasy XV will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29.
