If you pre-order the Digital Deluxe or Digital Legacy edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PlayStation 4, you can play the campaign for Modern Warfare Remastered starting on October 5. That’s why we have a launch trailer today for a game that won’t release until November 4, 2016.
As of right now, the only way to get the full Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered experience is to buy, at least, the $80 bundle of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Activision hasn’t announced plans to sell the game separately yet, but I imagine that’ll come a few months down the line. Keeping such a potentially big seller locked up like this is bad for business in the long run, no matter how good it is for the launch sales of Infinite Warfare.
Are you looking forward to the change to go back and experience the game that really solidified Call of Duty as a multiplayer defining shooter?
