We have a second spotting of the Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition thanks to the Brazilian Ratings Board, which has rated the game for a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC release in 2017.
The remaster first stomped into view back in June when Microsoft accidentally slipped its assets into a bundle created for E3 2016. However, developer People Can Fly refused to comment on any potential remaster, and an announcement for the game never materialized.
With this new leak, though, Gearbox has apparently stepped up to publish on People Can Fly’s behalf. The original Bulletstorm came out back in 2011 and was hyped as a return to the early, grotesque days of the first-person shooter genre. While it fell a bit short of that lofty goal, leaning on a few too many modern aesthetics and extremities to be considered old-school, gamers still flocked to it as a fun, manic, and underappreciated entry in the genre.
Stay tuned for official confirmation from Gearbox in the near future.
